Greetings, Welcome to a new school year! Dr. Moody purchased "Math Tools" folders for each student again, and all math assignments should be kept in that folder. Additionally, students will receive a list of the 5th Grade Common Core Georgia Performance Standards, 5th Grade Standards for Mathematical Practice, and a reference packet with helpful CCGPS resource information that is not included in the folder. These items should also be kept in the Math Tools folder. Students will have a Weekly Skill and Concept Review due each Friday. (The due date will be in the top right-hand corner of the worksheet.) There should usually be sufficient time to complete this during school, but please check with your child to ensure he/she is consistently practicing new math skills and concepts. I am looking forward to working with a new group of 5th graders!
